Mary Lee Gens
Hello. My name is Mary Lee Gens from Baudette, MN. Most people know me by my nickname which is Ducky. I’ll tell you the story sometime. I am the wife of Dave Gens for 50 years, have 6 grown children and 8 grandchildren with one on the way. I accepted the Lord Jesus into my life as a young child and became very serious about serving Him when I was 16. Music is a big part of my life and I’ve led worship for many years. I am also currently the pastor of Church of the Living Water in Baudette.
I was introduced to Camp Dellwater over 24 years ago and have been serving as cook for about 22 years for a couple of weeks of youth camp. The camp has grown tremendously over the years but its original vision of being a place where people can come to meet with the Lord is still faithfully carried on today. It is a very special place to host youth camps, retreats, family reunions or just a weekend away. There Is a special peaceful presence at the camp which provides visitors of all ages a chance to spend those special get-away moments with the Lord. I am currently privileged to serve as Chairman on the Board who oversee the functions of the camp.
